01 / Challenge

The task

The final walk to a historic-centre apartment is difficult to explain with an address alone. Guests may arrive tired, carrying luggage and without reliable data, so the route needed to be almost impossible to misread.

02 / Process

How I built it

  1. 01

I documented the real approach as 30 sequential photographs and paired every frame with a short instruction.

  2. 02

I translated the route into six languages and added text-to-speech for guests who need to keep their eyes on the path.

  3. 03

I made each step addressable and prepared the experience for offline use, allowing a host to share the route or a specific point directly.

03 / Decisions

What matters

01

One action per step

Each screen combines one image with one concise instruction, reducing interpretation under travel stress.

02

Accessible guidance

Six languages and text-to-speech widen access without changing the core route.

03

Deep-linked progress

Every step has its own URL so guests can resume or receive help at an exact point.

04 / Interface

05 / Result

Where it landed

A complicated arrival became a self-contained visual guide that can be opened before the trip, saved offline and followed one clear step at a time.
