01 / Challenge
The task
A pose library is most useful during an active shoot, where speed, one-handed use and unreliable connectivity matter more than conventional browsing. References also needed to be easy to share before a session.
02 / Process
How I built it
- 01
I defined a small taxonomy around four shooting contexts and tagged each pose for quick filtering.
- 02
I built the interface as an installable offline PWA so the complete reference library remains available on location.
- 03
I added addressable pose states and shareable cards so a photographer or client can open the exact reference they discussed.
03 / Decisions
What matters
Fast visual scanning
The grid and filters minimise text and make the reference image the primary piece of information.
Offline by default
All 75 references are prepared for use in places where a mobile signal cannot be assumed.
Shareable state
Deep links preserve a selected pose, turning the catalog into a simple planning tool before the shoot.
04 / Interface
In use
A closer look at the visual system and the product at real screen sizes.
05 / Result
Where it landed
PhotoPoses is now a focused working tool rather than a passive gallery: it can be installed, filtered quickly and shared at the level of an individual reference.
